With this move, officials estimate new-home building costs could drop by as much as $100,400, and the combined tax break could mean total savings of up to $230,000 for local families. This is more than just numbers\u2014it&#039;s about unlocking over 31,000 new homes and opening up real choices and affordability for both buyers and renters. Planned projects like widening major corridors and expanding water and wastewater capacity go hand-in-hand with these savings, ensuring our growing communities have the right infrastructure in place. Of course, the final step depends on city council approval and a few more agreements, but the direction is clear.
